Hard Ticket to Hawaii

Hard Ticket to Hawaii Review CFIR

This week, Cult Film in Review takes a trip to the tropics with our review of the 1987 action film, Hard Ticket to Hawaii. In this episode, Plots with Mike hits a snag as Mike struggles to structure this movie into something resembling a story. Later, the guys try to find out what motivates Dona and Taryn. Is it a deep-rooted desire for justice or are we reading too much into this film? Also, we wonder why the DEA is powerless to help anyone in this film. They can’t stop snakes, fire a gun straight, or use a pair of nunchucks correctly. But they’re one hell of a wrecking crew with a bazooka. Finally, can you throw a katana? This film shows you how!
