It’s a bitter sweet episode of Cult Film in Review as we say goodbye to a long-time member of the cast (for now?). We’re also reviewing a film that is giving us a mix of emotions, the 2016 comedy, The Greasy Strangler. In this episode, we ask, “does purposeful bad acting require very good actors?” We also discuss the long-lost art of creating a film for a narrow audience. That’s right, hating a film and respecting it are mutually exclusive! And finally, The Greasy Strangler can be a really tough watch for some, and we were no exception! We talk about the scenes that really had us reaching for the barf bag.
