This week on Cult Film in Review, we take you back to a time of elves and dragons. An era where magic existed and men were–Hawks. We’re reviewing the fantasy film, Hawk the Slayer! It’s clear this is a cult film but is it one here in the U.S.? We also take a good amount of time talking about the film’s big name, Jack Palance. Has the actor always been 85 years of age, because we can’t remember a time when he wasn’t. We also discuss the greatness of the soundtrack, if by “soundtrack” you mean the one amazing song that plays throughout that film. Also, we try and pinpoint the film influences that inspired this film. Spaghetti Westerns, sci-fi, fantasy. This film has it all, along with an elf that somehow embodies all three. Finally, there is much conflict amongst the guys in one of our longest ratings yet.
