This week, we take a psychological journey into the surreal as we discuss the 1990 mystery, Jacob’s Ladder. In this episode, the guys talk about the first time they remember seeing this trippy drama. Does it still hold up as well as it did when they were mere teenagers? Later, with so many different “realities” presented in this film, we try and discover which of Jacob’s lives was truly real. Also, we can’t talk about this film without also mentioning other sources of entertainment that inspired, and were inspired by, Jacob’s Ladder. We talk about Italian horror and Silent Hill to name a few. Finally, we discuss the many stars in this film, especially one who would go on to be one of the biggest child stars of the 90s, Macaulay Culkin.
