You better run for cover this week, because we are discussing the 1988 version of the classic sci-fi film, The Blob. In this episode, we discuss the difference between the 1988 version and the 1958 classic. It’s a good thing Mike watched both the night before! Also, we talk about some sick jumps with the other, far more rebellious Dillon, Kevin. Later, we admit that this film does a far better job with the special effects than the original – hell, it does a far better job than most films, in fact! We talk about our favorite scenes. And finally, we discuss how we feel about this version’s ending. Does it bring something new to the film or is it an unnecessary change?
