This week on Cult Film in Review, the guys dive into the dark recesses of the Disney catalog with their review of the 1985 animated feature, The Black Cauldron.
In this episode, some of the guys remember this film from their childhood, and some are seeing it for the first time. They discuss their first impressions before diving into the film as adults. Later, the guys question why Taran is living with an old man? Is he working there? Is he an orphan? Does it even matter? Also, Taran is the luckiest kid in the world, or is it just bad writing? Finally, does this film still capture all the Disney magic we’ve come to expect from the House of Mouse? The guys give their reviews.
