This week, we’re taking you on a trip which will test the very fabric of reality. Sit back and enjoy the ride as we review the Paul W.S. Anderson sci-fi-horror, Event Horizon. In this episode, we point out that this is one of our most requested films from our fans, but does that make this a cult film? As Mike reminisces about the time he saw this film in theaters, he gives a theory about what might have made this film better. Chimpanzees! We also call upon our science-minded audience to help us out with all manner of physics-based issues we have with this film. Like, is coolant flammable and would a small black hole destroy a planet? Finally, Kyle gives his best impression of a mechanical, hanging captain’s chair, and we have to admit, it’s pretty damn accurate!

This was a good movie that could have been a great movie if they just kept the hell scenes in.
Your first bad review.
Hi guys, I heard you say recently that you were waiting for your first bad review so here it is!
Let me start by saying I am a new listener and I’m already hooked after two shows. Your different opinions bounce off each other really well and I like how you cover a lot of details for each movie. I’m downloading all the old shows to listen to on my commute. Here’s the bad review bit … I hate you guys because now I have to watch cool movies I missed or re-watch great old movies again.
That’s all I got.
I’m sorry if this first bad review didn’t meet your expectations as far as bad reviews go but I really like the show. I’m not gonna lie.
Ciao
