It’s an episode with balls. Flying, silver balls. That’s right, this week we’re reviewing the Don Coscarelli classic, Phantasm! In this episode, Cody has a lot of questions about what fans see in this movie. Can the rest of the crew sway his final rating? Not that The Crew has all the answers. In fact, they have quite a few questions themselves. Like, what is this movie actually about? Aliens? Demons? Or is it all a dream? The guys come up with a few far fetched fan theories of their own. For instance, could the true weakness of the Tall Man be a pint of Ben and Jerry’s? Also, we use a big word. Portraitesque. Sure, it might not be a real word but we feel it most accurately describes the cinematography of this film.
