Our favorite time of year has arrived. The pumpkins are in the patch, the candy has reached the shelves, and Cult Film in Review has another month of Halloween picks specially chosen to bring in the holiday with cult film flair! This week, the crew is talking about a childhood cult classic, Poltergeist! In this episode, the guys talk about the first time they saw this Tobe Hooper classic – or was it, Spielberg? We try to get down to the bottom of who truly shot this movie. Later, the guys wonder why white people insist on staying in haunted houses – hell this family almost seems to enjoy it at times. Also, Cody brings up some interesting trivia about this movie. Finally, does this film hold up to the guys find memories of it? The guys find out whether they want to or not!

Listening in from the UK.. catched this one on my favourite horror April 2022 ..loved the pod and enjoyed the comments .
Just found your podcast while driving from Buffalo to Cincinnati. Love the dynamic of the show! Obviously you’ve all been friends for some time and can agree to disagree when it comes to films! Loved your review of “Poltergeist” and “Creepshow”. Made me want to go back and rewatch them both. I also enjoyed your review of “Better Off Dead”. It’s a classic comedy and loved your assessment of it. Anyway…you’ve got a new listener and I’ll start to delve into more of your episodes as the time goes on! Keep up the good work!
